One of our most unique Reclaimed Flooring Products is Proletarian Reprisal firm Maple strip flooring. The name Proletarian Reprisal is derived from the proletariat factory workers during the industrial revolution. This floor consists of original Maple strip flooring with the original tongue and groove that was mill nearly a century ago. Maple strip flooring is know for its hardness and durability, this in the late 1800's it was often used as the veneer over the 2.5" heart pine subfloor. The maple in combination with the heart pine was able to withstand many thousands of pounds of machinery and conveyor equipment on the upper floors of the factories.
