Pickle Tank Preserve Reclaimed Douglas Fir Paneling was derived from ages old vats that were used in pickling cucumbers. What makes the Pickle Tank douglas fir so unique, aside from the beautiful color it attained from the pickling process, is that the tanks were constructed from "perfect lumber". The only way to ensure that the pickle tanks and the process remained contaminant free was to use perfect quarter sawn lumber that was free of knots and defects. Aside from the occasional character adding bolt holes on long boards, this is truly awesome as reclaimed wood panelled wall or ceiling.
