We Purchase Reclaimed Wood From All Over the World!

Typically we are interested in Heart Pine, Antique Oak, Wormy Chestnut, Rock Elm, Pecky Cypress, Heart Cypress, Redwood, Maple, Cherry and Walnut.  However, if you have reclaimed wood with an interesting story, we would be interested in hearing about it.

Due to the high volume of calls we receive to purchase reclaimed lumber, we have established a step-by-step process to ensure that your wood receives the attention it deserves.

1.  If the building or structure is still standing, please email us high-resolution photos of the interior and exterior.  Additionally we require close-up photos of the wood on the face as well as the end grain.  Please send numerous photos that convey the condition of the structure as well as the wood itself.     

2.  Secondly, we would like to receive samples of the raw product.  Please send several samples that are representative of all of the wood, not just the best pieces.  The samples should be at least 12" long for boards and at least 2" thick for timbers.     

3.  Lastly, we ask that you include an inventory of the wood that you would like to reclaim.  Please include estimates of widths, lengths, thicknesses, and total board footage for each category. (i.e. joists, cross beams, posts, siding, floor boards, and roof decking).  If known, please also include the species of the wood.  Finally, describe the condition of each category.  Are the beams split?  Is there any rot? Is the reclaimed lumber painted?  Does it contain oil or other chemicals?

Following this process will ensure that your project receives the adequate attention the antique wood reserves.
